The files are a Mathematica notebook which has been used to perform the calculations discussed in the paper and data files containing the temperatures from the stations of Praha and Bologna.

The notebook is available under two format. The most convenient is the original notebook format which can be opened and played with Mathematica or Mathematica Player freely available from Wolfram Research (http://www.wolfram.com) for the most common computer OS (Linux, MacOS, Windows). This is the easiest way to browse and check the computations.

The other format is the standard PDF format that only requires a PDF browser and is a read only format where cells cannot be opened and closed and calculations cannot be played.

The data files are non blended series extracted from the data server of the European Climate Assessment _\& Dataset project (http://ecad.knmi.nl/)
